Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Contractor up to 20 hours per week
Training

Provide ongoing training to staff around the principles of applied behavior analysis

Provides training, models and offers feedback to new/current employees and staff to meet treatment integrity standards

Works alongside various grade level teachers and aides to develop classroom behavioral and skill acquisition programs to meet diverse learning needs
Service Delivery

Support early education and school age individuals with autism, developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges

Oversee implementation of data collection system, analyzes data/behavior, and makes decisions based on data; Ensures treatment integrity and validity of programming

Conduct functional behavior assessments using indirect and direct methods including functional analyses

Develops, monitors and maintains behavior intervention plans.

Coordinate service with other service providers such as SLP, OT, PT and also with school districts for IEPs,

Attends meetings and trainings as required

Assisting the teacher with the development of protocols/methods to help students meet objectives

Assist with writing goals and objectives within the behavioral domain for student IEP s

Other job duties, as assigned by the Director, but fall within the realm of behavior analysis
Accountability

Oversees the implementation and maintenance of data collection systems to track, monitor and measure program effectiveness and student progress including accurate program data, graphs and maintenance system

Maintains accurate reports and documentation

Reports to Director of Special Education
Knowledge & Skills of Subject Matter:
  • Knowledge and experience in applied behavior analysis
  • Knowledge and experience with a variety of autism intervention methods
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate behavioral principles at a level commensurate with each person s level of understanding
  • Ability to model interventions to staff and parents
  • Strong organizational skills, and promptness in communication
  • Development of data books/systems
Required Qualifications:
  • Master s Degree
  • BCBA certficate by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Required)
  • Demonstrates proof of professional liability insurance
  • Have reliable transportation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
